I was born and raised on the island of Hawai’i, but am relocating to NYC in Sept. 2020. I write about the intersection between sustainability and food, and help run a zero-waste pop-up dinner series on Closed-Loop Cooking.
I currently work in alumni relations for the Nutritional Therapy Association, a holistic nutrition school. I maintain all community outreach activities, including writing our monthly newsletter for more than 4,000 members, and I’m developing a professional development program for our alumni. Pre-pandemic, I ran our trade show program and helped to plan our annual conference, which hosts about 1,000 attendees, 30-40 speakers and about 100 exhibitors.
I’ve worked in sporting goods for adidas America, I’ve worked on the agency-side for with clients in the high tech mobile space and I’ve also worked in healthcare for Cambia, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield’s parent company. You can glance at my résumé to learn more.
